How much does it cost to join SmilePlus?

There is a one-time annual membership fee of $75 for the primary SmilePlus member. Additional family members may be added at any time for $25 each. However, each dependant’s membership will expire on the primary membership expires. Dependants must enroll at the primary policy holder’s dental practice.

Are there monthly membership fees?

No. There are no monthly membership fees for SmilePlus.

Where is SmilePlus accepted?

SmilePlus is accepted at Coast Dental and SmileCare practices.

How old do you have to be to enroll in SmilePlus?

The primary member must be at least 18 years old. However, the primary member may enroll dependants under the age of 18. Please note that the age of children treated varies by office.

Is SmilePlus a dental insurance plan?

No. SmilePlus is not a dental insurance plan. It is a savings plan offered exclusively to patients at participating offices who do not have insurance or a discount dental plan.

How does SmilePlus work?

Enroll online at www.SmilePlusDentalPlan.com or enroll at a participating location. You can make your first appointment and start saving on dental costs immediately. You do not need to wait for your membership card to arrive. The office team can look up your membership number.

Can I combine SmilePlus with another plan?

No. SmilePlus membership is available only to patients who do not have dental insurance or a discount dental plan.

Do I need to wait for my membership card to arrive before I make an appointment?

No. You can make an appointment as soon as you enroll and start saving on office visits and covered dental procedures immediately. You do not need to have your membership card, temporary membership card or your membership number with you. Team members can look up your membership number for you.

What is the SmilePlus refund policy?

You may request a refund for your SmilePlus membership fee within 30 days of enrollment as long as you have not received treatment under the SmilePlus fee schedule.

For how long will my SmilePlus membership be active?

SmilePlus memberships are active for one year. Dependants’ SmilePlus memberships expire on the same date as the primary membership. SmilePlus does not automatically renew. You may renew your SmilePlus membership either online or in a participating dental office.
